This is one of the greatest things I’ve ever heard said. I would like to have a kid just so that I can say this to him or her before dealing out justice.

Makes you wonder what is on that piece of paper the guy in the suit is holding.
Monday I will be starting the first part of a story/project that stars a character that is quite dear to me and has been lurking in my mind for almost as long as I can remember.
Can you imagine shopping for a cage that you intend to put a person in?
You would have to constantly watch what you were saying – scanning the sentences ahead to avoid anything that might give your plan away:
“Excuse me, I’m looking for a dog cage – oh about the size of a 38-year-old white female… dog.”
Or perhaps.
“Can the metal on the door be electrified so as to prevent it from being opened from the inside by the… dog?”
Or is this just me?
It always hurts so much when your children and expectations just don’t match up. It can be so easy to blame it on the kids – probably because it is all their fault.
