The best man’s toast. I’ve seen enough of these to know that some dearly stupid things have been said during these oddly devious moments. Generally in accordance with the amount of alchohol drank before said toast was given.
Truly a wedding trope if there ever was one.
It now occurs to me that there are probably extra-terrestrial species out there on some distant planet that have an identical concept of conquest and subjugation via alien. Even better their concept of an alien looks just like your average human.
Whatever that might be.
You know it never ends well for a martyr.
I’ve often wondered about that whole buried treasure thing.
Were these people actually intending on coming back and claiming their prize? All the movies I’ve seen seem to indicate that the those who buried treasure were more interesting in providing a future adventure for a plucky group of treasure hunting kids who are also on the run from some wacky crooks but get some help from the aforementioned crooks mutant sibling.
Truly a significator of ultimate success – the ability to get falling-down-in-a-heap drunk at the drop of a falling-down-drunk person.
Or hat, if that is more your fancy.
It’s sort of amazing the crazy stuff that people will do without even the hint of threat – or the prospect of tangible personal gain.
I don’t know about anyone else but I distressing tendancy to implied self-destruction – i.e. doing stupid things that sure seem like such a good idea but with the goggles of hindsight are actually beyond the realm of conventional stupidity requiring special equipment to handle (like a beer, whiskey, or herb of your choice)
I’m just kind of wondering if it’s as much a human thing as I think it is.
This would be one of those time where it would be a bad idea to bring up past relationship issues.
Unless of course that is how this situation occured in the first place. If so, than by all means continue – it’s obviously been well worth it thus far.
This guy is seriously asking for some trouble. You take one look at that statue and you can tell right away that there is definately going to be some huge curse on that jewel.
Hope he has something that lifts curses.
