Okay, so now that we are back on track. It’s high time I finished with that whole tarot thing…
As previously mentioned, there are two “arcanas” of tarot – the major (which I’ve previously posted) and the minor. I’m not entirely sure of the significance of the seperation (having not read the whole Wikipedia article or either of the books I borrowed from the library for research purposed). Now, apparently the minor is further broken down into four suits – corresponding to the four suits in a deck of playing cards. In tarot they are traditionally: staves/clubs, coins or pentacles/diamonds, swords/spades, and cups/hearts. I didn’t like the feel of two of the traditi0nal suits, so I changed them. This one here is the ace of one I changed and depicts the first ever fireman (the meanings of words change throughout time, you know).
I’m sure there is plenty of humorous potential in staves, but I decided that torches were funnier.
