The joys of raising children, I’ve been told, are in watching them grow and learn.
Learning isn’t always a pleasant experience.
On a side note. I’m sure it will soon become readily apparent that there will not be updates for a rather extended period of time. This isn’t because I’ve gone and given up, but more that I’m focusing on making this strange trip. Only time will tell, of course, but consider this a sort of time-jump… only we actually have to sit through the time involved instead of getting the wonderful opportunity to skip it with a nifty transition.
Or maybe we can…….

Thankyou for Tammy providing me tthe website for your cartoons. They are great, and keep up the good work. I don’t have a favourite cartoon, except to say they are really well done, and I’ll definitely look at your wesbite on a weekly basis. I suppose the message it your latest children’s cartoons is that parents aren’t always right, and and I think it is a nice way of ‘turning the table’ scenario.
It was really nice meeting you and Tammy and all the best for your trip to South Island – I wish I was
in the combi van with you – it looks like a lot of fun. Congratualtions on everything else that is happening in your life from small to big. It is always nice to meet new, diverse and interesting people, and it will be great to keep in contact with both of you. I’ll be certainly be enjoying looking at your cartoons.
All the very, very best,
Richard.
Hey thanks, your encouragment is awfully timely, especially considering the post associated.
No offense meant to Richard “Goody Goody” Huelin up there…. But stop patting him on the back. If you don’t kick him in the head every now and again he starts thinking that he’s useful…
Get back to your corner and draw, damn you!

P.S. I’m still waiting to see the cartoon I suggested to you and you said you had drawn up while still talking to me… Where is it, ya idea-stealing-then-not-postin-cartoonist??????
A scary thought occured to me that the world is no longer safe. There are Lyons breeding everywhere, in the northern and southern hemispheres. I feel I may need to leave the planet. Yes, thats it, the safe oxygen free, warmth of space will save me. good luck to you 2.
That’s a good idea, Bret. Leave it to good ol’ Buckethead to come up with such an innovative thought. More people SHOULD move to that oh-so-safe-and-endearing environment.

Just wondering. Did Buckethead ever make it to space? I want to know if they allow pets.
